I read historical books, fiction and non-fiction, and writing them became a natural extension of what I love to do most. My first book, Rose Adagio, is set in Edwardian England during the tensions of tremendous social change. The second book, Brides of Serendipity, set in 1850-65 Nevada territory, is about pioneers struggling to be a community.

I've lived all over the world, including Bristol, England where my first book, Rose Adagio, is set. Currently I live in Pasadena, California.

I graduated from the University of Michigan and spent my junior year in Paris, France at the Sorbonne, an experience that I will always be grateful for. For fun I like to explore flea markets and antique fairs.
